Why do headlights turn yellow? +
The plastic lenses have a factory UV coating that breaks down in the sun. Once it fails, the plastic oxidizes and turns cloudy.
How long does it take? +
About an hour for a pair, done in your driveway.
Will they go yellow again? +
Restored lenses get a fresh UV coating to slow it down. Parking in shade and regular washing help them last longer.
